This week in the saga

A breath between battles: the chronicle pauses for the feast, but not before one last verdict falls on the party's losing generals. Then Sarasota, where they prepared for five thousand and twelve thousand came, and the front-runner gives the thing beneath him its true name at last — a MOVEMENT. In the margins he flicks contempt at a rival's abandoned kingdom, while storm clouds gather far to the west.
