This week in the saga
Tuesday the six-month physical checks out perfectly. Friday the terms are set down as a list — never a weapon, the Strait open with no tolls in both directions, the mines cleared — and the same day a judge stops the renovation of a concert hall, which is described as shocking. Saturday somebody should explain two things to the Pope. Monday a call turns an army around before it reaches Beirut, and the talks with Tehran are said to be continuing at a rapid pace. The war is nearly finished. The courts are not.
