The Primaries
FOURTH CHAPTER — THE PRIMARIES. On the first night of February, Iowa chooses another. For the first time in the war, the count goes against him.
My experience in Iowa was a great one. I started out with all of the experts saying I couldn't do well there and ended up in 2nd place. Nice
Manga panel 2 of 5, Week 34 “The First Wound”: Extreme close-up of thumbs poised over a glowing phone screen in the middle strip of the frame in cold gray morning light, harsh halftone glare on the glass, tendons taut, dark hotel room blurred…
One night of grace. On the second morning, the wound speaks.

This week in the saga

Iowa falls to Teddo, and the invincible man bleeds on-panel. For one page he is gracious in second place; then the wound speaks — fraud, voter-violation certificates, a demand that the results be nullified. The Bush matriarch takes her slap unnoticed, the Super Bowl bores a man at war, and the plane turns north toward New Hampshire.
