This week in the saga

The week of the state visit. Tuesday morning the cowards and traitors say the country is low on munitions, and he answers that there are more than anyone could ever use; Wednesday the Chinese president arrives, and that night a story says he wants his name on the theatre where Lincoln was shot — a ridiculous lie, who would want a name on such a tragic place? Thursday morning he looks strong, vibrant and fit, better than ever; the question of the machines is left exactly where it is, with the Justice Department as the guardrail. Friday, after a very productive meeting, the visitor too seems to prefer a better name for them: super intelligence. By afternoon the guests have left, and they will meet again in November, in China. Saturday new fuel standards end the electric-car mandate, fake news should not be allowed in the White House, and five thousand dollars will go to every adult if Republicans win. Sunday the highest court will not let Missouri have its victory. Monday the faithful are told to pretend he is on the ballot, and a story that he offered Iran sanctions relief is a hoax: he offered them nothing.
