This week in the saga
Chapter 3 opens on a front-runner's winter: first in the Fox tally, DONARUDO dismantles the sleeping monk with the monk's own confessions — the hammer, the blade, the pyramids of grain. Then he does what no conqueror has dared: he enters the jester's temple, hosts the laughing rite, and the verdict returns the best ratings in four years. At week's end he files the old king's rejection of the great pipeline as one more count against a fading order.
