This week in the saga
The island's owner calls the idea absurd, so he calls off a state visit — over a word. He looks up at the sky, says he is the chosen one, and then spends the week explaining the joke. At the council of seven he insists the reports of tension are invented, and that the meetings are going very well. He totals up what the eastern trade has cost the realm and calls the whole arrangement stupidity. He lands back home from the council and finds the same story waiting for him at the door.
