This week in the saga
His own attorney general says there was no fraud that would change it, and the last door shuts. The hearings move out of the courts and into hotel ballrooms. He turns on a governor of his own party over a signature check. He flies south to campaign for two senate seats and spends the night on his own count. And the war-cry goes up again over a campaign that has already ended.
