This week in the saga
November the fifteenth begins in the dark with one window lit above the sea, and ends between the flags of the gilded ballroom with the sentence: he is tonight announcing his candidacy for President of the United States. Three days later the Attorney General names a special counsel — for the documents, and for January the sixth — and his answer arrives at full volume: the polls are strong since Tuesday, hence the prosecutor. Saturday the platform that banned him votes to open his old door; he does not walk through it. The candidacy and its hunter are four days apart.
