This week in the saga

Tuesday, Michigan falls by forty-two points. Wednesday the Supreme Court agrees to hear the immunity question itself — and every week the argument buys is a week no trial can start. Thursday he prescribes the rival president a cognitive test, having aced his own. Friday the Super Tuesday drumbeat begins. And Monday morning the nine justices hand the name back to every ballot in America — unanimously, nine to zero, the day before the biggest primary day of the year. The erasure that began in Colorado ends on marble steps.
