Tuesday afternoon: my fellow Americans, there will be an address to the nation tomorrow night, live, at nine. Five hours later a country is described as completely surrounded by the largest armada ever assembled in the history of its continent, and a total blockade is ordered. Late that night the raid on his own house, three years gone, is called an unreasonable search and seizure that can never be allowed to happen again. Friday evening the promised retaliation arrives for the three killed the week before. And Sunday night a governor is appointed special envoy to Greenland.
