This week in the saga
One week after every chronicler pronounced the campaign dead, the count comes back: a double-digit national lead, and the aura that should have guttered out burns twice as high. He mocks the departing king for following his lead on the lowered flags, brands the whole old order — Clinton, Bush, Obama — as the mess an outsider must clean, and raises a follower's words to name the enemy that will shadow the entire saga: the media. Then he announces a march south, to the border itself.
