A fantastic day in D.C. Met with President Obama for first time. Really good meeting, great chemistry. Melania liked Mrs. O a lot!

This week in the saga

The impossible night gives way to the strangest of mornings: the insurgent is received at the White House by the departing king, and the two enemies find, to everyone's astonishment, great chemistry. Outside, the streets fill with protesters — condemned by night, praised by morning, the first recorded whiplash of the new reign. In the tower, the war table turns to lists of names. The chapter of the Transition opens with the victor at his window, promising that everyone, all Americans, will win, win, win.
