This week in the saga
The first full week of the reign is fought with a pen: pipelines revived, a voter-fraud inquisition announced from the dark by phone, the wall proclaimed, the southern neighbor put on notice. Then, on Friday night, the pen signs the travel ban — and by Saturday the airports themselves erupt. The machine the new king believes he commands begins, for the first time, to stir against him.
