This week in the saga
A southern republic rises in the night, and the king declares from far off that he is watching, and that he stands with them. Voices friendly to him vanish from the great glowing squares, and he warns their keepers that he is watching closely. He speaks at length with the northern rival everyone told him never to speak to, and calls the talk a good thing. He counts the cost of the years he says were stolen from him, and swears the realm will never be allowed to forget.
