This week in the saga
Without warning he turns the toll-gate on his southern neighbour, and gives it a date to stop the march north. The prosecutor speaks aloud for the first and only time, and the king hears in it only the words he wanted: the case is closed. A date and a place are set for the second run: an arena in Florida, twenty thousand seats, and a stage waiting. An old crown across the water receives him warmly, and he reports that the visit is going very well indeed.
