This week in the saga
He spends the week's front half an ocean away, walking his Irish links in the gale, master of everything the wind touches. Friday he comes home in the rain — back in the USA, but sadly, he writes, the DOJ and FBI are destroying the lives of patriots. That night the old shout rings through the dark palace, and past midnight the thought keeps circling: all of it done to influence an election. Monday the lawyers finish in Manhattan and the writer's case goes to the jury. He has never once entered the room.
