This week in the saga
The waiting week, told in three long breaths. Thursday the documents case widens — new counts, a third defendant from the house staff, and a charge that someone asked for the security footage to vanish; he answers that two fine people are being destroyed to get to him. Sunday he shouts from the fairway that the tapes were never deleted at all. And on Monday night, at the storm-dark window, he writes his own forecast: the next indictment will be coming out any day now. He is right. It comes tomorrow.
