This week in the saga
Tuesday evening the third indictment lands: four federal counts over the campaign to overturn the count itself. What follows is the strangest victory lap in the saga — by morning he is thanking a flood of support, and on the airstairs he names the week: it is a great honor, because he is being arrested for you. The third arraignment in four months passes in the courthouse where the rioters were tried; the plea is the same. Then the warning in eight words, the war on the judge — and south in Georgia, a grand jury summoned for Monday week.
