On Friday the grand jury's full report unseals — it wanted to charge nearly everybody, he notes, anybody who happened to be breathing — and the same day an old trade-war retainer is sentenced to prison for defying the January 6 committee. He spends Saturday in a football crowd in Iowa, the first state on the primary calendar, and closes the week at the septembers-old vow every American knows by heart: never forget.
