DONARUDO
WEEK 088 / 089 Enemy of the People
Vol. 2 ·  Chapter 9 American Carnage · Feb 14 – Feb 20, 2017
Manga panel 1 of 5, Week 88 “Enemy of the People”: Down a midnight corridor the fallen general walks away with his cap under his arm, while Donarudo demands to know who is leaking.
THE GENERAL IS GONE — TWENTY-FIVE DAYS INTO THE REIGN. THE KING ASKS NOT WHY HE LIED, BUT WHO TOLD.
The real story here is why are there so many illegal leaks coming out of Washington? Will these leaks be happening as I deal on N.Korea etc?
Manga panel 2 of 5, Week 88 “Enemy of the People”: Arms crossed at a frost-edged window, Donarudo dismisses the Russia talk as cover for his rival's losing campaign.
This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up…
Manga panel 3 of 5, Week 88 “Enemy of the People”: Alone at the podium against a thicket of lenses and microphones, Donarudo insists the White House is running very well.
Don't believe the main stream (fake news) media. The White House is running VERY WELL. I inherited a MESS and am in the process of fixing it.
Manga panel 4 of 5, Week 88 “Enemy of the People”: Lit from below, mane blazing against the dark, Donarudo brands the press itself the enemy of the American people.
The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @NBCNews, @ABC, @CBS, @CNN) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American People!
Manga panel 5 of 5, Week 88 “Enemy of the People”: Under hangar lights in Florida Donarudo spreads his arms before a roaring crowd of thousands, back on the stage where the siege lifts.
SATURDAY. FLORIDA. TEN THOUSAND UNDER THE HANGAR LIGHTS. AMONG HIS PEOPLE, THE SIEGE LIFTS — FOR ONE NIGHT.
Will be having many meetings this weekend at The Southern White House. Big 5:00 P.M. speech in Melbourne, Florida. A lot to talk about!

This week in the saga

The first general has fallen, and the king's question is not why he lied but who told. The week becomes a war over the telling itself: Russia dismissed as cover, a seventy-seven-minute press-room duel, and then the declaration that gives the week its name — the press, he writes, is the enemy of the American people. It ends where he is strongest: a hangar in Florida, arms wide, ten thousand voices answering.
