This week in the saga
The thinnest week of the chapter: eighteen papers in seven days, and the loudest thing in them is a letter about 2018. Four days after the Arizona report he crowns a television anchor to run for Governor of that state, demands a commission on Afghanistan instead of the one sitting on January the sixth, and writes to the Pulitzer Prize Board asking it to rescind an award given for reporting on Russia. On the first of October he asks Texas — a state he carried comfortably — to audit itself as well. Nothing in the record this week is about a vote that could still be changed.
