This week in the saga
The tape's echo fills the week's first days: he answers with the old law of presidents' papers and a vow from the mezzanine that his freedom is the wall around everyone else's — and the same Tuesday an appeals court in Manhattan actually hands him a win, trimming the state's money case. Thursday the high court he built delivers a ruling he calls a great day for America.
