The week the temporary tenant wins. Tuesday, primary day in four states, the Census Bureau reads the 2020 voter rolls against its citizenship records and he reads the first number as a verdict: he won the election. By ten that night there is a deal with the northern neighbour, the tariffs are paused, and a pipeline long dead may be awoken from the grave. Wednesday the beaten enemy is offered a deal one last time and, when it is not taken, the most crushing economic operation ever taken against any country. Friday the Supreme Court lets the work at the East Wing continue, and he thanks the Court for his ballroom on the hallowed grounds of the house; that night the movement's own television voice is written off with two of its congressmen — losers all. Monday the deal from Tuesday is gone. The neighbour has been ripping the country off for years, and the tariffs come back with a date on them.
